- We always have the hooks with us, for you to decide if you would like them later.

Frequently Asked Questions

1. How do I book an appointment? Click in the header “Garage Menu" in the header here you can book an appointment, and we will be right out to you at the time you schedule.

you may also click on Decks if you are looking to book an appointment with (Strait Shot) construction.

2. Minimum installation height requirement for your garage is 14-foot callings? Skilled Rack Solutions offers customized installation in your garage, for the racks the drop from the ceiling is adjustable between 18-43 inches of useable space and we will help you decide how far down to install to make sense in your garage. this will be at the beginning of the appointment.

3. What is the storage volume for racks? Our storage volume of an 8' x 4' rack, adjusted to the height of 43" would be approximately 128 cubic feet or 20 medium sized totes. or 16 regular sized totes.

4. Can I have the overhead storage shelves installed professionally? At Skilled of Solutions our technicians will meet you during your appointment to plan out and install storage racks in the same visit.

5. How long would it take to install garage rack? It takes a professional one to two hours to install one rack. Please keep in mind that this may vary depending on the garage.

6. Can someone come out and help me decide what I need? At the beginning of every appointment, we will always measure your garage and discuss where would be the best place to put your storage racks, as well as how many racks would reasonably fit your garage needs. (We only charge for what we install)

7. Will you come and quote me first? We come with the racks to the appointment and will install where it makes sense, when booking your garage racks, it is best to add an extra rack for example 3-4 racks, please book in for 4 just in case, so we have enough material and the time allocated. We do everything all in one visit to save you time so that the costs may be at a minimum.

8. Can I get hooks to hang items from the rack? We always have hooks for our racks with us to show you if you decide that you need them.

9. What else should I know before I book an appointment? You will get a confirmation email once scheduled and a remainder email and text 24hrs before the appointment. When scheduling please entering your address include the CITY and ZIPCODE so we know where to install. We offer a 1-year warranty on labor and material. All sales are final.

10. Can I hang an additional rack from the existing rack? This is not recommended to be done.
